We are happy to announce that the second HC2 Roadmap Workshop took place last May in Barcelona, SPAIN.
Human-Computer Confluence Research Challenges 2013:
A structured research challenge solicitation process, involving the whole scientific community has been applied, consolidating the HC2 Research Agenda around disciplines ranging from computer science to computational social sciences, particularly human computer interaction, pervasive and ubiquitous computing, artificial intelligence as well as computational perception and cognitive neuroscience. http://www.pervasive.jku.at/hccvisions/
Last 17th May Starlab sponsored a TEDxBarcelona event with live speakers presenting great ideas.
The theme was "The future of Technology and Society" with a special focus on human-computer confluence.
The whole event was broadcasted via streaming so that everybody could see it live all around the world.
You can see more pictures from the event in the TEDxBarcelona tab: http://hcsquared.eu/tedxbarcelona
HC2 is proud to sponsor the upcoming TEDxBarcelona event on the Future of Technology and Society. We have a great list of speakers from the HCC community for what promises to be a very interesting afternoon.

The HCC Map attempts to characterise the field of Human Computer Confluence. It is primarily about people but also identifies the relevant research areas, projects, funding opportunities and companies in this admittedly broad field. It is an open-ended undertaking that we will build on throughout the course of HC2. In this first edition we list our take on the relevant research topics and some of the key players in those fields.
